Matt and I began talking to each other on Yahoo! Chat. I was dating someone else at the time and really didn't give him much of a chance. It wasn't until that relationship was done that Matt and I started to get to know one another.

During our many 5 hour chat sessions we learned that we had gone to school with one another most our lives. We even lived a mear 5 streets from each other. He knew my sister and her boyfriend at the time, and was even best friends with my next door neighbor.

At one point in time he had seen me in the yard and asked his friend about me but nothing ever came of it. We decided to meet on January 15, 2004. As soon as he walked in my front door I knew that whatever came of our relationship would be a good thing.

In August 2006 I moved into the house build for us and November 18, 2007 he proposed. Of course I said yes. We both agreed that we would wait until after I graduated college to get married.

On November 14, 2009 we had our ceremony in front of friends and family. It was a beautiful ceremony and we are happily married. We went to the Great Smoky Mountains for the honeymoon and have decided that is where we are going to retire to later in life.
